Lausanne, 10 April 2026 – The Aquatics Integrity Unit (AQIU) has issued a one-game suspension to Ukrainian Water Polo team assistant coach Nikica Gulin for acting in an unsporting manner and verbally abusing the referees.

The incident occurred during Group A Match 28 between Argentina and Ukraine on 9 April 2026 at the World Aquatics Men’s Water Polo World Cup 2026 – Division 2 in Malta.
