Lausanne, 8 April 2026 – The Aquatics Integrity Unit (AQIU) has issued a one-game suspension to Greek player Nikolaos Kastrinakis for misconduct (aggressive play) and a two-game suspension to Serbian player Petar Jaksic for violent action. Additionally, a three-game suspension has been issued to Serbian coach Uros Stefanovic for verbally abusing a referee.

The incidents occurred during Group A Match 7 between Greece and Serbia on 7 April 2026 at the World Aquatics Men’s Water Polo World Cup 2026 – Division 1 in Alexandroupoli, Greece.
