Lausanne, 26 November 2025 – The Aquatics Integrity Unit (AQIU), working in partnership with the International Testing Agency (ITA), has released its Anti-Doping Statistics for the third quarter of 2025. The testing, carried out by the ITA, covered 1,403 samples from 894 athletes representing 104 nationalities worldwide.
The ITA implemented a comprehensive and rigorous anti-doping programme during the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025, held in Q3. Additionally, during the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, the AQIU and ITA offered media a look inside the doping control in-competition testing process.
These figures reflect a coordinated international effort to promote clean sport and uphold fair play. It also reinforces a strong dedication to transparency in the fight against doping.
