Lausanne, 7 April 2026 – The Aquatics Integrity Unit (AQIU) has issued a one-game suspension to Italian player Edoardo Di Somma for misconduct (aggressive play).

The incident occurred during the Group B Match 2, between Italy and Spain on 6 April 2026, at the World Aquatics Men’s Water Polo World Cup 2026 – Division 1, in Alexandroupoli, Greece.
