Lausanne, 4 May 2026: The Aquatics Integrity Unit (AQIU) has issued the following suspensions at the World Aquatics Women’s Water Polo World Cup – Division 1 in Rotterdam, Netherlands: 

• American player Rachel Gazzaniga: two-game suspension for violent action (Group A match: United States of America vs Hungary) 
• Greek head coach Haris Pavlidis: one-game suspension for protesting referee’s decisions (Group B match: Greece vs Netherlands) 
• Dutch player Marit van der Weijden: two-game suspension for violent action (Group B match: Italy vs Netherlands)
