11 July 2024, Lausanne – The Aquatics Integrity Unit welcomes the operative part of the decision of the Anti-Doping Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport in case of Montenegro water polo athlete Aleksa Ukropina. With the decision of the Single Judge, Aleksa Ukropina is sanctioned with a period of Ineligibility of two (2) years, starting from the date of the voluntary Provisional Suspension on 14 February 2024. During the suspension Aleksa Ukropina is not allowed to take part in any Aquatic-related activities or events on behalf of World Aquatics or any other World Aquatics Continental Organisation, Member Federation and recognised body.
