28 March 2024, Lausanne – The Adjudicatory Body of the Aquatics Integrity Unit has suspended the World Aquatics Bureau Member Mr. Andrey Kryukov for 5 months and the Asia Aquatics Bureau Member Mr. Azat Myradov for 3 months, for violating Article 5 of the World Aquatics Integrity Code. The suspension of Mr. Kryukov runs from 27 March 2024 until 27 August 2024 and the suspension of Mr. Myradov runs from 27 March 2024 until 27 June 2024. During their suspension, Mr. Kryukov and Mr. Myradov are not allowed to take part in any Aquatic-related activities or events on behalf of World Aquatics or any other World Aquatics Continental Organisation, Member Federation and recognised body. Moreover, they are not allowed to attend Aquatics International Competitions, including the Olympic Games, in any capacity.
