27 July 2026, Lausanne - The Aquatics Integrity Unit (AQIU) has issued a two-game suspension to Italian Player Mario Del Basso for violent action.  

The incident occurred during the Semi Final Match between Italy and Greece on 25 July 2026, at the World Aquatics Men’s Water Polo World Cup 2026 – Final, in Sydney, Australia.
