Lausanne, 17 April 2026  – The Aquatics Integrity Unit has issued a reprimand on the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation and the Ukrainian Swimming Federation for breach of Articles 5.3, 5.8 and 5.10 of the World Aquatics Integrity Code following refusal to participate in a scheduled match at the World Aquatics Men’s Water Polo World Cup 2026 – Division 2 in Malta.  

The Ukrainian Swimming Federation was also informed that any repeated violation by any Aquatics national body of Ukraine will lead to further sanctions.
